We have to admit that the majority of the public supports democracy, but democracy can't be monopolized by anybody.
We have always had close communication and dialogue with the government. It is always a good thing for the government and the DAB to cooperate.
We also need stability and prosperity. And stability and prosperity is very very basic in Hong Kong.
At the meeting, both parties had a candid exchange of views and discussed the chief executive's governance concept and the relationship between the SAR government and the DAB.
All of us are Chinese and we need to have more understanding of the mainland people, the mainland system.
