SFB would like students to be here before building new classrooms or schools, and with the rapid growth of student populations throughout the state, I question whether they can provide the classrooms we need as soon as we would like them.

For several years our district student population has been about 475. Currently it is about 535.

With the expectations of our community for small classroom sizes, we must prepare new classroom space before we qualify for new construction.

Projections are that we will continue to grow, especially quickly once we hit the 2007-08 school year.
