We think we need a new school even without annexation. And our board is thinking about presenting that (to the BMA) in about a month.
We think there are birth rates that are going to affect schools, and there are people willing to build inside the city. We will continue with plans to deal with expected growth in the student population.
We need to decide if it is just an elementary school, a K-8 or two schools on one campus.
If we are trying to have a school open by the fall of 2009, which is about the soonest we can do it.
