I have always been very interested in historic architecture. It's just got a rich history from the famous garden district to the oak lined streets.

Architecture is good for someone who can multi-task since you have to be able to really manage your time. A lot of what you learn in architecture is not just design, but problem solving. You have to decide how X,Y, and Z will fit into the box and realize that there are infinite solutions. You need to be open to new ideas.

It's an amazing market for young architects right now. We are lucky.

I'm doing a little of everything, but I'm also getting the chance to work on restoring the theater for the American Film Institute in Silver Spring, Md., which is pretty exciting.
