Three of the teams have never played tennis before in their lives. I think we're going to get better cause they're pretty good athletes. Put a basketball in their hands and they'll do great. It's going to get better, though.
We won four three-set matches and three of them were 6-1 and one was 6-2, so they pretty much dominated the third sets. That shows they are in good condition and played with some confidence.
They tightened up and they choked. The other team played pretty relaxed and our guys were scared of losing.
As I watched, it seemed like we were close in the matches, yet all lost 6-0, 6-0. They don't know how how to win two or three points in a row. All six of them have never played before, but I was shocked they all lost 0 and 0.
That is there first win of the year -- they were excited. They felt good and they played pretty well and dominated the two sets they won.
It was a good effort. I was really happy with how he came back after being down 4-1 in the second set, coming back to force a tie-breaker. He definitely played well enough to win it.
He played pretty well. He looked more relaxed. I moved him from second singles to see if he could get a win, and he did. That was a good win for him to get under his belt.
He played better and overall he looked a lot better than he did against Forest Grove. He was impatient and looked nervous (against Forest Grove), but in this match he had better footwork and was relaxed.
The guy he played was very consistent. Miguel either hit a winner or made a mistake -- and he made more mistakes than winners. Miguel was forcing the issue, he just had too many mistakes.
