We've seen kids take over spots. We've seen kids put on 25 to 30 pounds and get faster. Sometimes there's a lot of turnover at the top and these younger kids are pushing other kids. It's good for our program.
He's a good kid, a fast kid, the special teams MVP for their team. He can do a lot of things, so it's nice to get him here.
Our offense has been working well the last few weeks, and I don't expect that to change. The win over Bemidji was a big boost for our defense, too, because we had been having some problems, but we stopped a very good team.
We proved to ourselves that when you do things right, good things happen. We want to build on (Saturday's) win and go against North Dakota ready to play.
We have to clean things up. We're good enough on both sides of the ball that if we don't turn the ball over, we can beat anybody. I'm just not sure we can get that done right now.
About the only good part is that there's plenty of good football games to watch on TV.
