I don't know who came up with this rivalry business. I have enough sense to know a rivalry is when you can't determine the outcome.

I came to Rutgers to try to build Rutgers to become the jewel of the East. I really think a lot of people got bent out of shape thinking that we claimed to be the jewel of the East. I don't know where you're going to get 'jewel' when you are undiscovered and unpolished. What we hoped to do was become the jewel of the East. I'm glad we got that one out of the way. When it came down to it, we didn't put pressure on them for the entire game. So we ran the risk of getting embarrassed.

I know they were embarrassed and they all came out to play and put it together today. So I'm happy for them because I know they were hurt.
