I knew it was gone when he hit it. I think they were trying to get it in on his hands and it got out over the plate and he got his arms extended. He hit the ball a long way and it was just a great way to win.
We knew Andy Ferguson had beaten us last year at Benton, so we knew what type of challenge we were up against. We didn't knock the cover off the ball but we didn't make mistakes and hung in there and came out on top when it counted.
