In the state finals, you win your match first and then you go for the pin. You don't put yourself at risk to lose the match just for a team title.
We were almost perfect today. Right now (the second-place team finish), it's a little bittersweet. We felt like we could've won it. But with our backs against the wall (entering Saturday), we almost did it.
If (Shelton) doesn't win that, then the team race ... we're in trouble. It saved our chances.
