I went into last year without any anticipation of how I was going to do. I wanted to see how the whole thing would play out. It's definitely big leap to go from middle school to high school. I had to go against a lot of upperclassmen last year. In one of my first matches I had go against the senior captain of his team. I believe I beat him, but it was a little intimidating.

That was the first time I've ever done distance running. Running 3.1 miles has massively helped with endurance.

I don't like to lose pretty much in anything. I will do anything to get stronger and get better. As a freshman, I got used to being the underdog. This year I want to be known as a someone.

I do like that rope. I've always been a bit of acrobat. It's something fun besides doing the regular workouts. The cradle's just a natural thing for me. To execute the cradle, you have to have great upper-body strength. I've been working on that.
